Watermelon and Mozzarella Salad

Watermelon and mozzarella may not seem like a common combo, but trust us, it’s a match made in heaven. This salad is quick and easy and is a delicious starter or side dish perfect for summer feasting.

Ingredients:

  • 700g seedless watermelon, peeled, cut into bite-sized cubes

  • 25ml white balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tbs olive oil

  • 12 leaves basil, chopped

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 pinch pepper

  • 12 slices prosciutto, thinly sliced, cut in half

  • 25g baby rocket

  • 2 tbs salted toasted pumpkin seeds

  • TABASCO® Green Jalapeno Sauce

 

Method:

  1. Toss the watermelon together with white balsamic, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper

  2. Arrange the marinated watermelon onto a plate garnishing with slices of prosciutto, rocket leaves and toasted pumpkin seeds

  3. Light up the flavour by drizzling it with TABASCO® Green Jalapeno Sauce
